(Woman into tiger)

“Lee, we really should be getting back to camp.” Mark said anxiously. “I know, I know, I just want to see if I can find the source of that sound. I think it’s a waterfall.” She protested. “But we’re already a few hours’ walking from camp!” Mark whined. “You complain too much.” Lee snapped.

Lee was the leader of an expedition into a Chinese jungle to search for the elusive white tigers. So far their expedition had failed miserably. She was 29 years old with black hair and the deepest black eyes, a very beautiful Chinese lady. She had been sent to Cambridge university and gotten a masters in biology. There was a reason she’d been picked to lead here.

Presently, She and Mark, her co-captain, were scouting ahead. Very far ahead. They had two weeks to find something important or else pack up and go home, and Lee was not about to give up her search. But right now, water interested her more than anything else.

The roaring sound of water was growing stronger. She pressed on, hacking back underbrush with her machete. Presently, they came across a clearing, there was a beautiful cascading waterfall and fruit trees and fragrant smelling flowers, it was a small paradise. Yet, something repelled her from the scene, making part of her want to run screaming and another part gaping in awe. It was a very large tiger with deep purple and black stripes, the very essence of darkness mixed with the power and grace of liquid steel. And it was staring right at them.

Then, it opened its mouth and spoke. Literally. At first she couldn’t understand, but then she realized it was English. She switched languages in her brain. “Mark, listen carefully, go back to your camp and tell the others that I killed Lee ,your expedition is a failure and you all need to return home. If you don’t, I really will kill Lee.” It said. “Mark doesn’t speak English.” She said, not even finding it silly she was talking to a tiger.

“He needs it in Chinese? Very well.” The tiger then effortlessly switched languages and repeated his instructions in perfect Chinese. Without hesitating, Mark ran off in the direction of camp. “There’s loyalty for you.” Lee mumbled in English. “I understand what you mean.” Said the tiger, it was speaking English again.

Lee realized she had been holding her breath in fear. She let out the stale air and sucked in oxygen. “Do not worry, I will not kill you.” The tiger said simply, she noticed now the bitterness in his voice, like someone who just realized they had been betrayed. “Why are you talking?” she asked, curiosity and fear had set in.

“Why do you think? I’m not a real tiger. This form is just more useful to me here.” It said. “What do you mean by ‘this form’?” she questioned. “I am The Illusionist, and I can take on any form I want to, but I prefer making other people take on different forms.” He said with childlike glee mixed in with the bitterness.

“What do you want?” she asked, afraid of the answer. “To do this.” Said The Illusionist. And with that, he bit her, sinking fangs into the flesh of her arm. She screamed, but not in pain, as the bite wasn’t painful. He released his jaws and smiled, proud of what he’d done.

“What did you do?” she half asked half screamed. “You’ll see in five… four… three… two… one.” As soon as he said one, fur began to grow over her arm where he bit her. She gasped at the sight, unable to manage anything else. The fur spread up her arm, reaching her body it covered it and continued to spread up the other arm and down her legs. It was white fur with black stripes, the pattern she had been looking for so desperately.

Her legs buckled, they were changing shape rapidly. She felt something in her panties, and when it grew out she found it was a tail. She found relief for her altered legs by standing on all fours, when a crack in her spine decided she wouldn’t stand up again. Her arms and legs rippled with muscles, and she felt every ounce of liquid grace and strength a tiger possessed.

Her clothes were reduced to shreds now, but it didn’t matter, the fur kept her covered, and her privates had rearranged themselves by now. The fur now covered her and her hair fell out. Then changes hit her hands and feet. Her fingers shrank and her thumbs disappeared, her fingernails grew out into claws and pads appeared on her palms, making her arms front legs and paws.

Similar changes occurred in her feet, and they became degitigrade, making standing on all fours more comfortable. Then the changes spread to the last part of her body untouched, her head.

Her nose became triangular and a slit connected it to her upper lip. Then her face and nose pushed out into a muzzle. Her teeth sharpened and grew and new ones grew in, filling the muzzle. She closed her eyes as they to changed improving in quality. Finally, her ears slid up the side of her head to rest on top.

The changes were done, she was now a full grown, female white tiger. She looked in the pool of water and saw her eyes were green and animal, no human remained. But she found that oddly her voice remained. “Why did you do that!?” she asked The Illusionist sarcastically, as he was still right there.

“Well, one, it’s fun, two, I’m evil, and three, I read your thesis and I don’t particularly like you. My, I must say you were hard enough to find. My stupid eye sent me half way around the world just to get you.”
“What do you mean ‘your eye sent you’?” she asked, thoroughly confused.

“Oops, I said too much, enjoy your new life. I’m sure there’s a big male somewhere who’d just love to meet you.” He joked. He had been quick to avoid the topic of his eye. “Another target calls to me so now I must leave. Hope you adjust fast.” And then the tiger disappeared, he wouldn’t be coming back.

“Now what?” Lee said to herself. She would now spend the rest of her life as the creature she had longed to see. Her quest in life as a human now over, tiger instincts arose and overtook her, sending her off into the jungle to look for a mate, territory, and some prey.

THE END?
The Illusionist reveals something about himself on accident, one of his eyes selects his targets and he has no choice but to follow through. Enjoy! :)
